Apple announces press event on Dec. 2, The press event will take place in New York City. Apple says it will talk about its favorite apps and games of the year.
Apple says the event is for “Honoring Favorite Apps and Games of 2019”. So, this doesn’t look like a product announcement event.Gaming is super specific though, especially mobile gaming. Showing the new functions of the camera app.
Considering the rumors Apple was planning to launch something big at this last event and how strangely fluffed up it was, and the references to ar tech in the newest macOS, I’m thinking they may be announcing something they aren’t quite ready to launch yet but want points for being first anyway.
