iOS 10.1.1 Jailbreak guide
iOS 10.1.1 iPhone 7 Jailbreak guide
how to jailbreak
Step 1: Download cydia impactor and the jailbreak (Links in the download section below)
Step 2: Go to applied.apple.com sign in and create a app specific password, call it cydia impactor
Step 3: Open cydia impactor and drag the ‘mach_portal+yalu-b3.ipa’ file onto it, impactor will then ask you to sign in with your apple id. This is where you use the app specific password and not you regular one.
Step 4: Unlock you device why impactor is installing, once it is done open the ‘mach_portal’ app now on you homescreen.
Step 5: you may need to repeat this a few time but keep opening the app until you get a ‘Storage is almost full’ message and the app closes by itself. (your device will completely reboot if it failed, you must keep opening until successful)
Step 6: SSH into your device. To find your IP address go to Settings > Wi-Fi > I on the current connected network > note down the ip address (this is your devices). Next open a terminal (for windows download PUTTY) and type ‘ssh email@example.com” and wait for it to connect, if it displays a yes/no message type yes. It will ask for your devices password the default is ‘alpine’ this must be changed!
Step 7: type ‘uname -a’ to show off you jailbroke iOS 10. Then type ‘uicache’ this will make cydia appear on your homescreen. Step 8: Open cydia and add the source http://220.127.116.11/~ijapija00/cydia and search for “Substrate fix (iOS 10)” this package will install Cydia Subsrate, Subsrate safe mode and a patch to make it work on iOS 10.
Step 9: Go back to the terminal window and type ‘passwd’ and enter a new root password. Because the security of your device is now basically gone changing you root password is a must. Be sure to change it to something secure.
Step 10: Go thank Luca Todesco for the hard work he put into releasing this. His twitter is @qwertyoruiopz[showad block=2]
